Each story needs a place to start in.
Although time is an essential contributing factor, I believe place is more important than it.
I have no particular reason for this.

And if you asked me about what I learnt from my long years at school, I would, happily, tell you the shocking truth:
Except for grammar rules of Arabic and how to speak English .. nothing! Yes, I learnt nothing that is worth to be mentioned or even .. remembered.
Actually, I am possessed by a strong feeling lately that the time I spent at school was nothing but a waste of time. Don’t get so amazed because compared to my other feelings, this one is nothing. You know why? No? Let me tell you. Can you believe that I am totally convinced my life is a waste of time? I couldn’t decide yet whose time my life is wasting. But this is not our main point now.
Let’s have some rest now!
Let’s waste our time!

“I love singing when I am alone .. when no one is listening.”
“Are you too shy of performing in front of audience?”
“No, it’s not like that.”
“Why then?”
“So that I can hear my voice clearly. I like listening to myself without disturbance. Besides, I don’t like sharing what belongs to me with the others!”

“أعشق الغناء حينما أكون وحيدة .. حينما لا يسمعني أحد”
“أتشعرين بالخجل من الغناء أمام جمهور؟”
“لا”
“لماذا إذن؟”
“كي أسمع صوتي بوضوح .. فأنا أحب أن أسمعني دون إزعاج! ناهيك عن أنني لا أحب المشاركة فيما هو لي!”

“I feel like I am useless!”
“No, you are not.”
“Yes, I am.”
“For God sake! Uhm .. Look! Some people in this world are meant to be useless!”
She stopped talking when he threw her with a sharp, admonishing, wondering look. That means she needs to make things clearer to him, before she gets an unjustified divorce or a reckless punch on her lovely nose!
“That doesn’t mean that you are useless. I am just giving you an example. Listen till the end. Let’s start it all over again! Some people in this world are meant to be useless and there is nothing wrong with that!
Imagine that we all were useful! No one then will understand (how useful the useful is!) or even (what it looks like to be useful!) or (what useful is).
It’s some kind of essential contradiction .. a contradiction we need to feel a lot of things around us. We need the uselessness to help ourselves feel and understand the usefulness. In fact, the uselessness is already useful!
See! The uselessness turned out to be awesome :)”
He nodded and answered: “Then I am not that useless!”
“You are not useless at all. You are totally useful. You are awesome. You are you.
And remember that there is a reason and a “use” for every thing.”
